Spider-Man: No Way Home Spoiler Review

It's been a long time since the last time I went to the cinema with an active, boisterous and fun-filled audience. Spider-Man: No Way Home delivers on that experience, and then some. Throughout the film, the audience did not hesitate to applaud, shouted with joy and was excited by the scene after scene that appeared before their eyes.

The author will try not to mention spoilers in this review, because believe me there will be many more pleasant surprises to witness for yourself and feel the excitement. With a duration of 2 hours 28 minutes flies by imperceptibly, this third film from Tom Holland's version of Spider-Man could be the best superhero film of 2021. Like what?

Messy Spell Is Messy

Spider-Man: No Way Home takes place shortly after the last events that occurred in Spider-Man: Far From Home, where the identity of Peter Parker (Tom Holland) is revealed and this young teenager becomes the most famous person in the world – not in a good way, though.

The problem is, this becomes a problem for his girlfriend MJ (Zendaya) and his best friend Ned (Jacob Batalon) who are affected by this incident. Peter did not want this case to worsen the lives of the two closest people and finally decided to ask his fellow Avengers, Dr. Strange (Benedict Cumber batch).

Of course Strange was willing to help, but in the midst of the incantation process, Peter interrupted a lot and disturbed the stability of the spell that was being performed by Dr. Strange. Even though it was successfully controlled, the interrupted spell actually left one problem, the presence of figures from other universes. Then, how about Peter and Dr. Strange solved this problem?

Strange Surprises

For those of you who love Marvel movies and have watched all the previous Spider-Man films, you will definitely find lots of easter eggs and very satisfying scenes! Plus, if you watch other Marvel series on Disney+ or Netflix, the canonical fusion of some of the characters and events in No Way Home is guaranteed to make you WOW!

It's a film that is not only fun and full of action, but also touching. Peter's growth from an awkward teenager to become a tough man and able to make difficult decisions is more than enough to make the audience proud of the change.

In terms of action set pieces, of course, it's undeniable, very grand and explosive! We can see exciting fights in the middle of the highway, above the statue of Liberty, to the duel of Spider-Man vs. Dr. Strage in Sanctum Santorum.

There will be two after-credits scenes in the middle and at the end of the credits roll, so don't rush home. Spider-Man: No Way Home has been aired in Indonesia and you can watch it in the nearest cinemas. The author's advice, watch it on the biggest screen you can get, whether it's at IMAX or at Starium, it's going to be worth it! Happy Watching!
